Just a smart choice for a brief stop-in in Shanghai with incredible value for money. The staff was extremely polite and helpful during my stay. Make sure to request a room that doesn’t face the school.

Great breakfast options offered every morning.
Upon check-in, my room wasn't ready at the promised time. I had requested an early check-in due to my early flight, but they told me to wait until 3 PM, which was disappointing. Even then, when I finally got a room, it was in a new extension and lacked a bathtub, which I was really looking forward to. Additionally, the staff's English was too limited for clear communication, causing further frustration during the check-in process.

Ideal for those who appreciate unique charm
The hotel had this amazing old world charm to it, like stepping back into a fairy tale, and the breakfast they served was so delicious it made every morning feel special. I also loved how the staff were eager to help with everything, like ordering taxis and giving great recommendations for nearby restaurants, true 5-star service.
It wasn’t cheap but still within a reasonable range for what you get.

My room was cozy, with soft towels and a well-equipped bathroom. Breakfast options impressed me. the omelettes made to order were delicious. The location is fantastic, surrounded by trendy cafes and bars, perfect for exploring. However, I faced delays at check-in.
